Forecast Pro Version 6, say hello

Forecast Pro keeps getting better

forecast pro version 6 Forecast Pro is built to be fast, easy and accurate forecasting software for every business imaginable. Forecast Pro is easy to learn and easy to use, making Forecast Pro the logical choice if you are currently forecasting with excel spreadsheets, guesstimation or other software which is not getting the job done—and are unhappy with the inaccurate results.  And now Forecast Pro is just betting better with the launch of Forecast Pro Version 6.

In today’s blog we are going to focus on one feature that we love and feel that it will be of valuable help to every business who is looking to improve their forecast accuracy.

Forecast Pro Version 6 now allows forecasting overrides

Forecast Pro and many business professionals know that how important adding judgment or top line adjustments to your baseline forecast can increase the forecast accuracy and improve the quality of any forecast.  Forecast Pro have now added this functionality to Forecast Pro Version 6, so now you can easily create, view and retain forecast overrides for your business.  The Override Forecasts display now includes three rows which document how the forecasts have evolved over time and they include:

Statistical: this forecast row shows the statistically-generated forecast based on your data and inputs.

Override: this forecast row displays any overrides or top line adjustments that you have entered to your forecast.

Forecast: this forecast row documents the final forecasts based on your statistical forecast and your manual adjustments.

Forecast Pro XE Version 6 now allows you to save each of these rows to document your changes for further review if required at any stage later.  If you are in an environment where your forecasts are updated routinely (for example, monthly) you can load previous overrides into the current forecast, eliminating the need to re-key any of the prior changes to your statistical forecast.

This is only one of the new features in Forecast Pro Version 6, see what else has improved click here to download a brochure on what is new in Forecast Pro XE Version 6
